The course for Early Career Psychiatrists "Psychopathology and Clinical Practice" will be organised by the EPA Early Career Psychiatrists Committee and the EPA Section on Philosophy and Psychiatry on 21-23 March 2014 in Florence, Italy.The aim of this residential course is to take a fresh look at psychopathology and its place in the curriculum of European Early Career Psychiatrists. The programme will combine theoretical, empirical, clinical and therapeutic perspectives.30 highly promising Early Career Psychiatrists from all over Europe will be selected by the Faculty upon evaluation of CV and motivation letters. For more information on the course, please view the course brochure.  On this occasion, two scholarships of 1 000€ each will be awarded by the EPA to school participants for the best essays on the topic “Excellence in psychiatry, how to teach and be trained in psychopathology?”.
